Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data analysis solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Your expertise will enable stakeholders to visualize complex data sets through advanced dashboards and reports, facilitating insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analytics tools, database management, and software development lifecycle analysis, with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable intelligence., * Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.

  • Design and implement scalable data models and database schemas utilizing SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems to support analytical needs.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources using tools like Talend, Python, Bash scripts, or VBA to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements through detailed analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure robust deployment of BI solutions.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel data analysis techniques, R programming, or other analytics tools to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Manage query optimization and query management processes to enhance report performance across SQL databases.
  • Support the integration of linked data sources for comprehensive analytics insights.
  • Assist in the design of data visualization strategies that communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Contribute to project management efforts by planning tasks effectively within Agile frameworks while adhering to best practices in BI development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role with demonstrated expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database design principles; experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend; familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Experience with dashboard development, reporting tools, and query management for large datasets.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies applied within analytics projects.
  • Data analysis skills utilizing Excel (including VBA), R programming language, or other analytical software.
  • Familiarity with linked data concepts and integrating disparate data sources for comprehensive insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong project management capabilities with an eye for detail in requirements analysis and solution delivery.
