IT Field Engineer (Managed IT Services) | On Site

We’re looking for an experienced Field IT Engineer to become the face of ISNY at our clients’ locations.

This is more than a field support position. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor responsible for delivering an exceptional onsite experience while solving complex technical challenges and representing the high standards our clients expect from ISNY.

You’ll work closely with our Service Desk, Projects, and Engineering teams while supporting clients throughout the New York metropolitan area.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel to client sites across NY to provide in-person support.
• Set up and deploy new workstations, printers, network gear, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with office moves and onsite infrastructure changes.
• Provide “hands and eyes” support for senior engineers during remote projects.
• Perform post-deployment validation and user support.
• Rack, cable, and install servers, switches, firewalls, and network equipment.

Read before applying: Only considering candidates with 3+ years IT support experience with a stable job history., * 3+ years in IT support, (field service experience preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows desktops and laptops.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, switching).
• Experience with M365 and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience installing and supporting printers and peripheral devices.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and client-facing.

Preferred Experience:

• MSP Services background.
• Field service support experience
