Founding Engineer

FanPad is a direct-to-fan platform that helps musicians and creators turn anonymous listeners into real fans and consistent buyers. We partner with artists and their teams to maximize long-term fan engagement and monetization - and we have the case studies to prove it works at scale (clients include Earth, Wind & Fire and Skepta)., We’ve closed our latest funding round and are looking for a Founding Engineer to join the team. You’ll have a direct impact on technology that powers high-visibility campaigns, drives millions of dollars in value, and shapes the future of the fan experience.

What you’ll do

• Ship product as an individual contributor - this is primarily a hands-on engineering role
• Own technical architecture decisions and drive them from design through production
• Work directly with the CTO and clients to translate business needs into scalable solutions
• Grow and lead a small engineering team as we scale

Our stack

Angular · .NET · PostgreSQL · AWS (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3) · Twilio · Mailgun · various third-party API integrations

• 5+ years of full-stack experience across our stack; backend-leaning preferred
• Strong ownership mindset - you take problems end-to-end without being told
• Self-sufficient in a remote startup environment with US or equivalent timezone availability
• Clear communicator who can act as a thought partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable re-prioritizing fast when the business needs change
• Passion or genuine curiosity about the music industry or creator economy is a big plus
