Job description

The Office Administrator supports the daily administrative operations of the grocery store by maintaining organized records, coordinating office activities, and assisting store management. This role includes handling invoices, entering data, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, organizing employee files, preparing reports, and maintaining office supplies. The Office Administrator works closely with staff to ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient office operations while providing professional customer service when needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment are essential for success in this position., * Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks.

  • Maintain employee, vendor, and company records with accuracy.
  • Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and other business documents.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries professionally.
  • Schedule meetings, deliveries, and appointments for management.
  • Perform data entry and update office spreadsheets and databases.
  • Coordinate with store staff to support daily business operations.
  • Monitor and reorder office supplies as needed.
  • Assist with payroll documentation and timesheet tracking.
  • Ensure confidential company information is handled securely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus.
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
