IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an individual for an IT support specialist position that will be involved with running and overseeing our IT support department. Individual will also work with the IT supervisor in planning and deploying enterprise wide systems as needed. Experience with Window’s server setup required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Help desk duties

• Provide support and troubleshooting for all incoming Help Desk support request by prioritizing and expediting resolutions.
• Provide support and training for Microsoft Office products and various other software needs.
• Setup user workstations, user profile configurations, upgrades, etc.
• Asset inventory tracking
• Purchasing and maintaining inventory on supervisor’s direction
• Individual will report to supervisor potential unforeseen or growing issues, suggest solutions and apply the implementation of approved solution(s).
• Setup and lead end user training programs.

Support Specialist duties

• Work with supervisor on network, server, etc projects.
• Plan and deploy enterprise wide software installations and upgrades
• Individual will need to possess strong communication skills
• Highly organized, disciplined in time management and setting priorities, flexible to respond to multiple requests being received simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and meet objectives without supervision

3-5 years in IT Bachelor degree preferred After hours support required Weekend and holiday work may be required Possible travel required, instate. Windows network environment experience required. Active Directory and Group policy experience required. PowerShell scripting a plus Apple iOS experience a plus.
