Job description

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software services using ASP .NET Core Web API.

Collaborate with other developers in the enterprise to design and implement user interfaces using React JS

Develop end-to-end tests to validate acceptance criteria associated with the User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX)

Grow your skillset to provide additional team flexibility as requests for new capabilities are allocated each planning interval.

Take ownership of and responsibility for software products being developed.

Gain domain knowledge and contribute to providing technical guidance to software and test engineers.

Work with the team to relentlessly improve the user experience and expand system capabilities.

  • Support the development of product documentation, user training materials, and team meeting materials as needed.

Requirements

Contribute to software development as part of a team contributing to a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)., Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline plus 10 years of experience or Master’s degree plus 8 years of experience.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance within 6-9 months of hire date.

Experience with Microservice architectures.

Experience with two or more of the following:

  • Design and Development using C#/ASP.NET Core Web API.
  • PostgreSQL Database Management System
  • ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Unit Test Frameworks (xUnit, MSTest, Moq, NSubstitute).
  • API Test Frameworks (RobotFramework)
  • Automated UI test frameworks (Cypress)
  • Kubernetes/Helm, Docker, Liquibase

Ability to work with a geographically distributed team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong critical thinking skills.

Desired Skills:

Active Security Clearance is preferred.

Experienced with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Experience with Prisma Cloud, SonarQube

Experience with Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), any SAFe certification is a plus.

Knowledge and understanding of mission planning needs of military aviators.
