INTL Scala Engineer

We are seeking a Scala Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable big data applications that power high-volume billing and transactional systems. This role will focus on building Spark-based data processing solutions, developing backend services, and contributing to modern web-based platforms that support critical business operations.

Design and develop scalable applications using Scala and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.

Build and maintain solutions supporting billing, transaction processing, and data-driven business workflows.

Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and client-server applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web-based solutions leveraging Angular front-end components.

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Scala.

Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and big data processing frameworks.

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Knowledge of web-based, client-server application architecture.

Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.

Background supporting high-volume billing, transactional, or financial systems.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
