Requirements

Apply strong technical skills and a mission-focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design data-driven solutions. Leverage tools such as Python to develop analytics and data science products. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward., * Active SECRET or higher security clearance.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required
  • THREE (3) or more years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Experience in conducting data science using a programming language, Python preferred.
  • Experience with Agile team operations, such as sprint planning, standup calls, writing Jira stories, backlog refinement, etc.
  • Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • FOUR (4) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working in Databricks.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
  • Experience performing data engineering, such as Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), managing databases, etc.
  • Experience working with data cataloging and metadata.
  • Experience working with APIs.
  • Experience visualizing data and building dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to support business development, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
  • Relevant experience supporting the Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
