Principal Software Engineer - .NET Full Stack

Client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer - .NET Full Stack to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, modern front-end frameworks, Azure cloud services, and Agile development methodologies. Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred., * Own and support one or more business-critical applications.

• Collaborate with Business Systems Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and technical design reviews.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using industry best practices.
• Create technical documentation and follow software configuration and quality management processes.
• Perform unit testing, performance tuning, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Support production environments and participate in high-severity issue resolution.
• Design and develop complex software systems independently.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and mentor development teams.

• 16+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience leading complex enterprise application development projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
