Job description

The Incentive & Payroll Data Analyst is a critical role responsible for the precise calculation and reporting of performance-based compensation for over 450 employees. This position demands a high level of technical proficiency in Excel, a rigorous commitment to deadlines, and the interpersonal skills to communicate complex pay structures to a diverse workforce. You will be the primary point of contact for all incentive-related inquiries, ensuring that our warehouse and transportation teams are paid accurately and on time., * High-Volume Payroll Processing: Audit, calculate, and process weekly performance incentives for 450+ employees (including Drivers, Helpers, Selectors, and Warehouse staff) based on complex productivity and output metrics.

  • KPI Reporting: Compile and distribute weekly Operations KPI reports to leadership, identifying trends in productivity and performance.
  • Transparency & Documentation: Generate individualized pay breakdowns for every employee each payday, clearly illustrating how their performance translated into their earned incentive pay.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Lead the “Root Cause Analysis” for any pay discrepancies. Investigate data errors, determine resolutions, and communicate findings clearly and professionally to both management and the affected employee.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the subject matter expert for incentive pay structures. Handle high volumes of employee inquiries with a “firm but fair” approach, ensuring issues are resolved within 24-48 hours.
  • Process Improvement: Drive organizational understanding of employee needs by identifying patterns in pay issues and recommending system or policy enhancements to improve the employee experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry and competitor benchmarks to ensure our incentive programs remain competitive and effective in retaining top talent.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * Advanced Excel Mastery: Must be expert-level in Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If/Then statements, and Data Validation). Ability to handle large, complex datasets without loss of integrity.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong quantitative skills with a “detective” mindset for spotting data outliers or calculation errors.
  • Deadlines & Pressure: Proven ability to manage strict weekly deadlines where there is zero margin for error.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal skills. You must be able to explain technical pay formulas to employees in a way that is easy to understand while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of autonomy and time management. Must be able to pivot between deep data analysis and active employee engagement seamlessly.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Required: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred: Experience with Payroll/HRIS software or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)., * Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
