Systems Engineer

This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer who will contribute to new product development for medical devices. The position is a combination of office and lab work., * Applies knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation across complex systems and assignments

• Generates design concepts and participates in design reviews; supports development and testing against design specifications
• Performs reliability testing and assesses system interactions
• Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshoots issues to identify root cause and potential engineering solutions
• Learns and follows company concepts, policies, procedures, and standard practices
• Works on projects of moderate scope; analyzes situations or data requiring review of identifiable factors
• Makes suggestions to improve work processes and assists in reducing patentable inventions to practice
• Participates in technical team activities; presents and discusses data within the group
• Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promotes Quality First Time
• Other duties as assigned by management

Do you have experience in Word processing?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, * Knows basic and some specialized engineering techniques.

• Familiar with searching technical literature.
• Skilled with use of word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Systems Engineering preferred, all Engineering disciplines considered
• 0-3 years of experience; new graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered, * Electro-mechanical background (electrical, mechanical, or both)
• Requirements development or management
• Product definition and systems development
• Systems testing, verification, and validation
• Exposure to technical control documents
