Job description
We are seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Senior Consultant to support a large-scale Epic Radiant implementation and integration initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong Epic Radiant experience, hands-on expertise with DICOM Modality Worklist (MWL), and experience integrating Epic with Sectra/PACS environments.
This role will provide specialized expertise to accelerate build, configuration, testing, integration, and go-live activities while helping reduce implementation risk., * Accelerate Epic Modality Worklist (MWL) build and configuration efforts.
- Lead DICOM workflow validation and testing activities.
- Support integration and coordination between Epic Radiant, PACS, modality vendors, and interface teams.
- Assist with developing and executing comprehensive testing plans for 1,000+ modalities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve build and workflow issues during testing and deployment.
- Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Collaborate with technical and clinical teams to ensure radiology workflows are properly configured and validated.
- Provide senior-level expertise and guidance on Epic Radiant configuration and integration challenges.
- Help reduce implementation risk while allowing existing analysts to continue supporting day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent education.
- 6+ years of Epic Radiant experience.
- Epic Radiant Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Epic DICOM Modality Worklist (MWL).
- Experience with Sectra/PACS integration is required.
- Strong understanding of radiology workflows, modalities, interfaces, and PACS environments.
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, testing, and go-live activities., * Large-scale Epic Radiant implementation experience.
- Experience working with high-volume modality environments.
- Strong understanding of DICOM MWL workflows and troubleshooting.
- Experience coordinating with PACS vendors, modality vendors, and interface teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project collaboration skills., * Epic Radiant: 6 years (Required)
- HL7 integrations: 3 years (Required)
- Epic DICOM Modality Worklist: 3 years (Required)
- Sectra/PACS integration: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Epic Radiant Certification (Required)
