Job description

The Epic Radiant Consultant will provide expertise in Epic Radiant, DICOM Modality Worklist, and imaging system integrations, with a primary focus on supporting a large-scale implementation involving 1,000+ modalities. This consultant will lead MWL build, DICOM workflow validation, Sectra/PACS integration, testing, troubleshooting, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization activities. Epic Radiant Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Epic Radiant Modality Worklist (MWL) build, configuration, and optimization activities
  • Provide expertise in Epic Radiant, DICOM, and HL7 workflows, with a strong focus on imaging integrations
  • Lead DICOM workflow validation, testing, and troubleshooting across a large and complex imaging environment
  • Support integration between Epic Radiant, PACS, Sectra, imaging modalities, modality vendors, and interface teams
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute comprehensive testing plans covering 1,000+ imaging modalities
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Radiant build, interface, DICOM, and workflow issues discovered during testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders to validate imaging workflows and ensure systems meet operational requirements
  • Support Sectra integration and DICOM Modality Worklist workflows, ensuring accurate communication between Epic and imaging systems
  • Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, readiness activities, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Document configuration, testing results, issues, resolutions, and workflow decisions throughout the implementation
  • Work closely with project teams, interface analysts, application analysts, PACS teams, and vendors to coordinate implementation activities
  • Identify implementation risks and recommend solutions to minimize disruption to clinical operations
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to existing Epic Radiant analysts while allowing them to maintain day-to-day operational responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a credited institution
  • 6+ years of experience with Epic Radiant
  • Epic Radiant Certification
  • Experience with Epic DICOM MWL
  • Experience with Sectra integration
