Job description
The SuccessFactors RBP Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing Role-Based Permissions (RBP) across SAP SuccessFactors modules. The role ensures secure access management, compliance with organizational policies, segregation of duties (SoD), and alignment with HR business requirements. key responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide SuccessFactors RBP security architecture.
- Define permission models based on least-privilege and need-to-know principles.
- Develop scalable role hierarchies and access frameworks.
- Review security impacts of new SuccessFactors implementations and enhancements.
- Configure and manage Role-Based Permissions across SuccessFactors modules.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and role recertification.
- Establish governance standards for role creation, modification, and retirement.

Ensure compliance with organizational security policies. ### Risk & Compliance
- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) assessments.
- Identify unauthorized access risks and recommend remediation actions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
- Define user provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
- Collaborate with IAM teams for identity lifecycle management.
- Support integration security between SuccessFactors and downstream applications.
- Monitor privileged and sensitive access.
- Partner with HR, IT, Compliance, Audit, and Security teams.
- Translate business requirements into security solutions.
- Provide guidance on security best practices.
- Lead security design workshops and reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on RBP design and administration.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes.
- Experience with IAM and access governance concepts.Qualitification
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification.
- Experience with SAP IAS, IPS, GRC, or IAM platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP HCM and Employee Central security.
- CISSP, CISM, or similar security certification.Key skills:
