Job description

We are seeking to add a North America CRM Product Owner to lead business product ownership for Salesforce and related client coverage capabilities supporting North America Institutional and Intermediary distribution teams.

Reporting to the Head of CRM & Sales Enablement, this individual-contributor role will translate business priorities into scalable capabilities that improve sales effectiveness, client engagement, workflow efficiency, data quality, and user adoption. Impact is driven through cross-functional influence, stakeholder partnership, and subject-matter expertise rather than direct people management.

Salesforce is the primary platform, with adjacent responsibilities spanning sales enablement, analytics, data, and AI-enabled capabilities. The role partners with dedicated Salesforce administration and development teams and requires a business-owner mindset that balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Serve as lead business product owner for CRM capabilities supporting North America Institutional and Intermediary businesses.

  • Own roadmap prioritization with the Head of CRM & Sales Enablement and key business stakeholders, translating objectives into requirements, user stories, process designs, and delivery plans.

  • Partner with business, technology, operations, and data teams across solution design, testing, rollout, and optimization.

  • Promote data quality and governance in partnership with data stewardship and operations teams.

  • Use business outcomes, adoption measures, and user feedback to guide priorities and improve platform value.

Business Partnership & Transformation

  • Build trusted relationships across sales leadership, consultant relations, relationship management, operations, data, and technology.

  • Align North America distribution stakeholders and CRM delivery teams, facilitating decisions across competing priorities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve client coverage, sales workflows, and commercial effectiveness through CRM, analytics, process improvement, and practical AI-enabled capabilities.

  • Communicate priorities, progress, outcomes, risks, and recommendations effectively to leadership and users.

Adoption & Value Realization

  • Lead rollout, change management, training, and adoption for new CRM capabilities and enhancements.

  • Develop targeted communications and enablement materials, and monitor adoption and business impact to improve realized value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management, or related financial services organizations.

  • Strong understanding of asset management distribution, with experience supporting Institutional and/or Intermediary client coverage teams.

  • Experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, CRM, Sales Enablement, Business Analysis, or another business-facing distribution role.

  • Demonstrated success translating business needs into delivered technology capabilities and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder leadership, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive decisions.

  • Experience leading process improvement, user adoption, or organizational change initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce experience, including familiarity with configuration, reporting, automation, and governance sufficient to assess tradeoffs and partner with administrators and developers.

  • Experience with CRM, client coverage, sales enablement, analytics, data governance, or commercial effectiveness platforms.

  • Experience evaluating, piloting, implementing, or driving adoption of AI-enabled business solutions.

  • Relevant Salesforce, Product Owner, Product Management, CFA, CIMA, or related certifications are a plus.

Location: New York City; hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in office.

Applicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.
