Job description

  • Execute reliability and validation testing for robotic and autonomous systems
  • Document detailed test procedures, results, and observations for root cause analysis
  • Perform hands-on testing of electronics, sensors, actuators, and mechanical assemblies
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment including environmental chambers, vibration tables, and load frames
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and failure analysis activities
  • Work with soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable management tasks
  • Maintain an organized and safe test lab environment
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve system performance
  • Support field testing and external test lab activities as required
  • Assist with prototype assembly, modifications, and test setup preparation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wiring and circuitry work?, We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Reliability Test Technician to support the development and validation of autonomous robotic systems. This role involves executing system and component-level testing, documenting results, troubleshooting failures, and supporting engineering teams in improving product reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has experience working with mechanical, electrical, automotive, robotics, or mechatronics systems in a lab or testing environment., * 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in robotics, automotive, mechanical, electrical, or related industries

  • Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical datasheets
  • Familiarity with environmental and vibration testing equipment
  • Experience using lab tools, DAQ systems, sensors, instruments, and shop equipment
  • Proficiency with soldering, crimping, and hardware assembly work
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems for testing and integration
  • Basic CAD knowledge using tools such as SolidWorks or Onshape
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite in a lab/warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with autonomous systems or robotic platforms
  • Background in hardware validation, reliability testing, or mechatronics
  • Familiarity with prototype development and field testing environments.
