Job description
This role is with a financial services organization, joining a small team responsible for developing and maintaining CoChMA, an internal client risk management platform, along with other internal risk and margin systems. This is a hybrid position, with three days in the office and two days remote., In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain server-side application components using Java and the Vert.x framework, and you will build and enhance front-end interfaces using Vue.js, HTML, and CSS. You will write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models supporting the margin rate governance system and risk and margin reporting. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, and you will monitor system health and performance in production, proactively identifying and resolving issues. You will contribute to code reviews and technical documentation, work independently with ownership of assigned modules and features, and continuously improve existing systems through refactoring, performance tuning, and adoption of best practices.
