Job description

Want your models deployed where they matter instead of dying in a notebook? Zaden Technologies is hiring Data Scientists to support a defense logistics analytics program. This is an on-site role - you’d work in person with the mission team, building the demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and anomaly detection models that turn a flood of logistics data into decisions., * Build demand forecasting models using classical time-series methods (ARIMA, exponential smoothing) and machine learning approaches (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost)

  • Develop inventory optimization solutions using linear programming and mixed-integer techniques
  • Build anomaly detection capabilities using clustering (k-means, DBSCAN) and autoencoder techniques
  • Apply statistical modeling to support operational decision-making
  • Deploy models to production and monitor, validate, and recalibrate them against real performance standards
  • Help deliver dashboards and decision support through modern BI and analytics platforms
  • Work on-site with the mission team
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • An active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) at time of application (firm requirement, U.S. citizenship required)
  • A Master’s degree in an applicable field and 5+ years of applied data science experience
  • Hands-on depth in Python, R, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Availability to work on-site in the greater Tampa area
  • Start date in early October, * 5+ years of applied data science experience
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or readiness analytics
  • Demonstrated experience deploying models to production (not just research or prototyping)
  • Dashboarding experience in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong documentation skills or experience delivering knowledge transfer/training
  • Optimization experience (linear programming, mixed-integer)
