Job description

Paragon PromoWorks is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that supports our applications and internal platforms. This is a full time role for someone who enjoys automation, continuous improvement, and working closely with software engineering and IT teams to deliver reliable, secure systems.

You will play a key role in improving deployment processes, strengthening system reliability, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure.

Where you fit in

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across production environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Improve system reliability through automation, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Maintain configuration management and version control practices.
  • Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to security and compliance initiatives across the technology environment.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Linux system administration and scripting using Bash or Python.
  • Understanding of networking, system security, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
