Job description
Paragon PromoWorks is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that supports our applications and internal platforms. This is a full time role for someone who enjoys automation, continuous improvement, and working closely with software engineering and IT teams to deliver reliable, secure systems.
You will play a key role in improving deployment processes, strengthening system reliability, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure.
Where you fit in
In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across production environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Improve system reliability through automation, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain configuration management and version control practices.
- Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to security and compliance initiatives across the technology environment.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux system administration and scripting using Bash or Python.
- Understanding of networking, system security, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
