Job description
The Healthcare Integration Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of Cibolo Health’s enterprise healthcare technology initiatives, including the enterprise healthcare lakehouse, population health platform, clinical integration programs, and interoperability solutions.
Working under the direction of Cibolo Health’s data and analytics leadership, this role partners with healthcare organizations, implementation partners, vendors, and internal project teams to coordinate technical implementations, support healthcare data integration activities, and facilitate successful deployment of technology solutions across Clinical Integration Networks (CINs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and rural healthcare organizations.
This position combines healthcare IT implementation, interoperability, project coordination, reporting support, and operational execution to ensure successful deployment and adoption of enterprise healthcare technology solutions while supporting Cibolo’s clinical, analytics, and project management teams., Implementation & Integration Support
- Support implementation of the enterprise healthcare lakehouse, population health platform (Cibolo Connect Powered by the Garage), and interoperability initiatives.
- Coordinate implementation activities between member hospitals, vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams.
- Track implementation milestones, technical dependencies, issues, risks, and action items.
- Assist with onboarding new healthcare organizations and technology partners.
Healthcare Data Integration
- Support integrations across Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, CPSI, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and other EHR platforms.
- Coordinate implementation of ADT, clinical, claims, quality reporting, HL7, FHIR, and CCD/CCDA data integrations.
- Assist with interface testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Document interface specifications, workflows, and technical configurations.
Clinical Analytics & Reporting Support
- Support Cibolo’s clinical and population health teams through development and maintenance of provider scorecards, dashboards, quality metrics, and operational reports.
- Assist with report validation, data quality reviews, and metric reconciliation.
- Coordinate recurring reporting requests.
Project & Operational Support
- Maintain project documentation, implementation trackers, meeting notes, and action items.
- Support user acceptance testing, Go-Live planning, production readiness, and post-Go-Live stabilization.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and operational stakeholders.
Data Quality & Governance
- Monitor data quality and interface performance.
- Escalate technical issues to engineering resources when appropriate.
- Support organizational data governance, security, and documentation standards., * Protect PHI in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
- Access, use, and disclose PHI only as permitted by organizational policy.
- Implement and maintain appropriate technical safeguards for healthcare data.
- Support organizational security and compliance initiatives.
Pay: $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Information Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience supporting healthcare technology implementations, healthcare IT, interoperability, healthcare analytics, or clinical systems.
- Experience working with hospitals, EHR vendors, HIEs, or healthcare technology organizations preferred.
Technical Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD/CCDA, and ADT workflows.
- Understanding of clinical, claims, payer, quality, and population health data.
- Experience with SQL (basic to intermediate), Excel, and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Monday.com or similar project management software preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and healthcare interoperability environments preferred.

Benefits & conditions
