Job description

  • Lead IT projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, timelines, deliverables, and work breakdown structures.
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and milestones.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate communication across technical and business teams.
  • Partner with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and project sponsors.
  • Prepare project status reports, executive updates, and project documentation.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and escalate risks or delays when necessary.
  • Ensure successful project implementation, handoff, and closeout.
  • Track project success metrics and document lessons learned.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology integration, software development, and system implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors in a matrixed environment., * 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.

  • PMP certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience managing IT integration projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMBOK principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Must have PMP Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Healthcare IT / Health IT experience.
  • Knowledge of HL7 standards.
  • Experience with healthcare workflows and technology implementations.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management.
  • Experience with software development, system integration, or technology customization.

Ideal Candidate: A proactive, highly organized Project Manager who can influence without direct authority, build strong stakeholder relationships, manage complex technology initiatives, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
