Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead validation and PHY qualification for Cisco’s next-gen enterprise and industrial switches. You will design end-to-end test architectures, drive automation, and collaborate across teams to ensure top quality and industry compliance for mass production. As a technical leader, you’ll mentor engineers and establish scalable test frameworks that raise product reliability. This is a hands-on role with high impact on system performance and standards conformance. Compensation / Benefits * Design and execute end-to-end validation architectures for board components and PHY systems * Lead test automation efforts and develop scripts to accelerate validation cycles * Debug root-cause issues and ensure compliance with industry standards for mass production * Mentor junior engineers and establish scalable test frameworks across the organization * Collaborate cross-functionally to align validation with product goals and customer needs * Drive testing for high-speed interfaces and complex network features Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (7+ years) or MSEE/CE (5+ years) * Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators, VNA, thermal chambers) * Experience with L2/L3 routing and switching, OSI model, LAN/WAN topologies * Proficiency in Python for test automation * Prior networking hardware validation/testing experience Key requirements * medical, dental and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * paid parental leave * paid holidays and vacation/sick time * volunteer days * restricted stock units grants
