Job description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide technical support for critical Operational Technology (OT) initiatives and infrastructure. This person will be supporting several high-priority projects and provide day-to-day operational support of mission-critical environments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be capable of quickly integrating into an established team and independently supporting complex Windows and Linux server environments while maintaining the high standards required for critical infrastructure operations., Experience administering Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

  • Evaluate, test, and deploy operating system and application patches.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts.
  • Experience supporting enterprise backup, endpoint protection, and security monitoring platforms.
  • We are currently using Veeam for Backup, Symantec for Endpoint Security, and Tripwire for security monitoring, but candidates with skills in other technologies will be considered.
  • Any experience implementing a Network Monitoring System will be great.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance., The environments supported by this position are subject to North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate:
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to independently and consistently follow documented procedures without deviation.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collect, organize, annotate, and maintain compliance evidence.
  • An understanding of change management, access control, and configuration management principles. Previous experience supporting NERC CIP-regulated environments is desirable; however, candidates with strong enterprise infrastructure experience and a willingness to learn the regulatory requirements will be considered.

Benefits & conditions

The compensation for this position varies based on experience but will be between $90,000-120,000 depending on experience., Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
