Job description

Lead multiple teams of C#/.NET and React engineers across North America and India.
Oversee delivery of complex software products and customer-facing applications. Drive modernization from monolithic applications toward scalable, service-oriented architectures.
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Mentor engineers and managers while building a high-performing engineering culture.
Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled product capabilities.
Partner with Product and business stakeholders to define priorities, manage dependencies, and execute roadmaps.
Establish and improve Agile, DevOps, quality, and software delivery processes.
Use engineering and delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve team performance.
Manage technical risk, resource planning, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Requirements

7-10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading distributed engineering teams.
Strong experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL Server, and modern APIs.
Experience designing scalable, secure enterprise applications and cloud-native architectures.
Strong Azure experience, including services such as AKS, Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
Experience with microservices, clean architecture, DDD, SOLID principles, performance optimization, and secure development.
Practical experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms.
Experience integrating AI capabilities using platforms such as Azure AI services or OpenAI APIs.
Proven ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish strong engineering practices.
Experience modernizing legacy platforms and improving software delivery through DevOps and Agile practices.
Strong communication, product thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with third-party integrations and enterprise software environments.
Preferred: Experience in financial services, insurance, fintech, SaaS, or other highly regulated/mission-critical environments.
