Job description

Legion Technical Solutions (LTS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Integration & Test to support one of the nation’s premier aerospace and defense programs. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) and Command & Control (C2) technologies that directly support critical national security missions. As a member of a high-performing Systems Integration & Test team, you’ll help integrate, verify, validate, and troubleshoot advanced software and hardware systems while working alongside some of the industry’s top engineering professionals. What You’ll Do Integrate and test advanced command and control (C2) ground systems supporting space and ISR missions. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performance software and hardware solutions. Develop, execute, and maintain integration and verification test plans and procedures. Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and regression coverage. Troubleshoot complex software, hardware, interface, and system integration issues. Debug software and system-level functionality to ensure mission readiness. Participate as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART), supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) initiatives. Work closely with engineers, architects, and government stakeholders to deliver reliable mission-critical capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of Systems Integration & Test or closely related engineering experience. Hands-on experience performing software integration and system testing. Experience working within Agile CI/CD development environments. Experience with: Test automation * Test scripting Regression testing Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills involving software-based systems.

  • Experience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience programming or scripting with Python and/or Perl. Experience supporting command and control (C2), mission systems, or similarly complex software-intensive environments.

  • Active transferable TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Satellite Ground Systems Satellite Command & Control (C2) Space or ISR programs DevOps / DevSecOps environments Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Cucumber Gherkin Zephyr Java C++ Cloud-based architectures and environments
