Job description
We’re hiring a UX/UI Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for our clinician-facing web platform. You’ll work from user research and workflow discovery through wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and production handoff.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product design craft with practical judgment. In healthcare, design quality is not cosmetic. It affects usability, confidence, cognitive load, and ultimately patient care. We want someone who takes that seriously.
What You’ll Do
- Own UX/UI design for our web platform from discovery through launch
- Conduct user research and workflow interviews with OB/GYN clinicians, sonographers, and clinical staff
- Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma aligned with our React component library
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure high-quality, accessible implementation
- Run usability testing and iterate quickly based on feedback and product needs
- Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools where they improve speed and quality
- Help maintain visual consistency, simplicity, and trust across the product experience
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of UX/UI work for web applications, SaaS products, or complex digital tools
- proficiency in Figma and confidence producing production-ready design handoff
- Experience with interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing
- Ability to design systems and reusable components, not just individual screens
- Comfortable collaborating closely with React/front-end engineers
- Strong accessibility instincts and attention to clarity in high-stakes workflows
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, or prototyping
- Able to work in-office in the Denver metro area
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical software, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and accessible product design
- Exposure to FDA human factors or IEC 62366
- Experience with design systems, Storybook, Tailwind, or component-based front-end workflows
- Light front-end fluency in React/TypeScript
