Job description

Software Engineer/Software DeveloperSITEC Consulting is seeking a Software Engineer/Software Developer to support a high-visibility Department of Defense mission-planning software program. This position will focus on developing, sustaining, modernizing, testing, and improving mission-critical software capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and sustain software applications.Analyze software requirements, defects, and proposed enhancements.Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective resolutions.Support software modernization, migration, integration, and performance-improvement efforts.Participate in Agile activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and capability demonstrations.Collaborate with developers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders.Support DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and software delivery processes.Maintain code, configuration items, and software documentation.Assist with technical
