Java Developer

As a senior member of the technical team, this role involves developing, enhancing, testing, and debugging software applications. The ideal candidate will provide strategic technical direction, utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives, and lead effort estimations for software applications. Key technologies include Java 17, SpringBoot, Microservices, and containerization., * Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or support functions

• Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations
• Lead or take responsibility for the estimation of effort for software applications
• Coordinate collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable development experience
• Technology development experience using Core Java, J2EE, and Java 17
• Deep experience in SpringBoot, Microservices, and RestAPI
• Expertise in containerization
• Strong SQL skills, preferably on Oracle and SQL servers
• Proficiency in multithreading, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, and SonarQube
• Agile Development proficiency and leadership experience
• Excellent communication and strong analytical abilities

Desired skills:

• Prior experience in the banking industry
