AI Systems Manager

At Go Team Sports, we’re building technology that changes how custom apparel companies operate. We’ve built our own Order Management System (OMS) - replacing spreadsheets, Facebook Messenger, sticky notes, and disconnected software with one intelligent platform.

We’re looking for someone to become the owner of technology at Go Team Sports. Today, that means taking full ownership of our OMS. Tomorrow, it means becoming the person who evaluates, builds, and leads the technology roadmap for the entire company.

You don’t need to be a traditional software engineer. You need to be an exceptional problem solver who uses AI daily - ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Replit - as a genuine thought partner, not just a chatbot.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and continuously improve our custom OMS (features, bugs, performance, reliability)
• Design automations that eliminate manual work across the company
• Evaluate and recommend third-party tools (CRM, AI, integrations)
• Meet with employees to diagnose operational bottlenecks and design scalable solutions
• Support the team - respond to tickets within 24 hours, resolve most within 48
• Document systems and train employees as things evolve
• Set the technology standards and direction for the company long-term

• Excellent critical thinking and independent problem-solving
• Comfortable with ambiguity - this is a high-autonomy role, not a ticket queue
• Active daily AI user who thinks in terms of “how would I automate this?”
• Strong written communication and documentation habits
• 1-2 years of tech experience, OR equivalent AI-built project experience, OR a portfolio showing real problem-solving. No degree required.
