  • The name of the project(s): Star Merge
  • Genres: Puzzle, Casual, Adventure
  • Platforms: Mobile, iOS, Android

The PLUMMY team lives by the spirit of harmony and a burning desire to bring joyful innovations and enjoyable experiences to our players. Our goal is to provide them with comfort, calmness, and sincere fun!

If you’re a Senior GameDev Engineer who enjoys tackling complex challenges in mobile games, let’s connect! You’ll work on a live mobile title Star Merge using C++, moving across gameplay features, technical systems, performance improvements, and SDK integrations to deliver features that players actually feel.

Let’s merge your talents with our vision and create something truly magical!

Star Merge Link: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/star-merge-merging-match-game/id1580697094 For which tasks (responsibilities)?

  • Design, implement, and maintain gameplay features and technical systems in C++ and our existing tech stack.
  • Work on mobile game performance and stability (ANRs, crashes, memory usage, build size).
  • Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs (ads, analytics, crash reporting, observability, customer support).
  • Debug and fix complex production issues, including hard-to-reproduce bugs.
  • Collaborate with game designers, analysts, UA, QA, and other developers to deliver features from idea to release.
  • Contribute to improving our architecture, code quality, and tooling.
  • Take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion, including testing and release support.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a C++ developer in mobile games or interactive apps (Android/iOS).
  • Experience working on casual mobile games, such as merge, match-2/3, farming, or city-building.
  • Experience with game engines (in-house/custom or popular engines such as Unity, Godot, Cocos2dx, Unreal Engine, etc.).
  • Ability to debug difficult issues (crashes, memory leaks, performance problems).
  • Experience integrating SDKs (ad monetization, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a finisher mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on stability and performance in production.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and its practical use in daily work.
  • Comfortable working remotely and autonomously, coordinating with a distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with liveops / frequently updated mobile games.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., crash logging, performance monitoring).
  • Experience with data-driven features (working with analytics and UA).
  • Interest in architecture and code quality (modularization, refactoring, technical debt management).

What is important for us in a person?

  • You are detail-oriented and care about stability and performance in production.
  • You are a team player: you listen, give and receive feedback, and help others succeed.
  • You own problems instead of waiting for someone else to fix them.
  • You stay calm and systematic when things go wrong (production bugs, tight deadlines).
  • You’re curious and proactive about learning our stack, tools, and processes.

What are the conditions and bonuses?

  • Remote-first approach with various collaboration models
  • Smooth onboarding experience, with full support from our team to help you feel confident from accepting the offer
  • Work alongside experienced, like-minded professionals with an opportunity for fast professional growth

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salaries, reviewed on a timely basis, or personal achievements and involvement in the project
  • A standard 5-day workweek, synced with the GMT+3 time zone
  • 20 business days of paid vacation, with the option to take single days off from this amount
  • Public holidays based on your country of residence
  • 5 sick days per year for health-related needs - no doctor’s note required

Moldova-based? You’ll work from our office and will be covered with full IT Park social benefits

Estonia-based? You’ll get a full employment contract under Estonian law The selection process
