Job description

The objective of this project is to automate a range of processes based on the principle that data should only be entered once. The goal is to build a robust, scalable solution capable of efficiently managing a large network of sensors while ensuring data consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency. Expert Python Developer

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable Python applications and backend services.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Improve application performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve existing solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
  • Experience designing REST APIs and microservice architectures.
  • Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD or similar DevOps tooling.
  • Understanding of software design principles, testing and clean architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kafka or other event driven architectures.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK.
  • Experience with Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and automation practices.
