Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in a business change capacity. This role is integral to bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and projects are delivered effectively. The position focuses on stakeholder engagement, communication, and business change delivery rather than deep technical expertise., * Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear understanding and effective project delivery.
- Engage in significant stakeholder management and communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Lead and manage business change projects, including cloud transformation and migration of onboarding solutions from on-premise to cloud-based systems.
- Oversee the migration from existing document management solutions to new cloud-based platforms.
- Integrate historic and legacy platforms into newer technologies, managing the complexities of transforming long-standing business systems.
- Contribute to the future roadmap with a focus on business change, technology transformation, and cloud adoption.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
- experience working within enterprise-scale organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver business and technology change projects.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies, with a primary focus on Agile.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery.
- experience in managing testing, governance, decisions, and implementation activities.
- Skill in translating business requirements into IT outcomes.
- This role will sit in between IT & Business change so they are looking for someone who can straddle those two business units.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- experience in the legal sector or professional services is preferred but not essential.
- Exposure to document management systems, system implementations, and integration projects.
- Familiarity with business transformation initiatives.
- Proactive, trustworthy, accountable, and enthusiastic personality.
- Comfortable working autonomously and as an open communicator.
