Interaction Designer

We are seeking experienced Digital Professionals to support delivery across the Government Gateway programme. Opportunities are available for individuals with backgrounds in User Research, Interaction Design, or Content Design, working within agile, multidisciplinary teams to improve critical public services used by millions of citizens and businesses.

You will play a key role in creating user-centred, accessible, and evidence-based digital services by understanding user needs, shaping service experiences, developing content and design solutions, and collaborating closely with researchers, designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders., * Supporting the design and delivery of user-centred digital services.

• Using research, data, and evidence to inform decisions and improve user experiences.
• Creating accessible and inclusive solutions that meet government standards.
• Working collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicating insights, recommendations, and design decisions to a range of stakeholders.
• Continuously iterating and improving services based on user feedback and business needs.

• Experience working in digital, design, content, or user research roles.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
• Ability to use evidence and research to inform decisions.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
