Join Technology within Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group (COG), which brings together technology, data, AI, digital platforms, operations and specialist support teams that help Macquarie work efficiently, securely and at scale. As a graduate, you’ll help design, build and improve the systems, platforms and tools that support our people, clients and businesses globally.

What role will you play?
As a graduate in Technology, you’ll work with supportive colleagues and leaders to solve complex problems and deliver practical technology solutions. You’ll build your skills through hands-on work with innovative tools, systems and platforms, while seeing the impact your ideas can have across Macquarie.
Depending on your individual role, you could be:
- designing, building and enhancing technology platforms that support trading, risk management and business operations
- working on digital platforms, trading systems, business applications or data tools
- learning agile delivery, software development, DevOps, cloud, automation or solution design
- using data, analytics, AI or emerging technologies to help solve business problems and improve processes
- partnering with technology and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and improve user experiences
During this twelve-month programme, you’ll be encouraged to examine problems from every angle, challenge the status quo and come up with new and innovative ways of progressing our business while being supported by an inclusiveteam.
As a graduate, you will:
- Take part in an orientation to learn about Macquarie business groups, with your fellow analysts and expand your professional network.
- Receive formal training, including financial modelling and presentation skills, but at its core the program provides practical on-the-job learning to further your career. If you have ideas that have merit, we’ll give you the opportunity to develop and test them to create new possibilities.
- Build strong connections and work collaboratively while also partnering directly with our business leaders on meaningful and challenging work.
- Receive support from your manager and aligned mentor as you gain genuine insight into our industry.
- Be encouraged to give back through theMacquarie Group Foundationwhich provides support to hundreds of community organisations each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing.
Requirements
You have a unique perspective. We want to hear it. We welcome applications from students from all degree backgrounds in their final year graduating in January to July 2027.
- You are studying Computer Science, STEM, Physics, Management Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or related subjects.
- You are curious and analytical, enjoy solving complex problems and can communicate technical concepts clearly.
- You like to collaborate with others and are comfortable building strong working relationships with technology and business stakeholders.
- You learn quickly and bring a proactive, resourceful and positive approach to new challenges.
- You have strong attention to detail and an interest in building or improving technology, data or digital solutions.
