Job description

Provide desktop and user support across Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Support Microsoft 365, including email, licensing, Teams and related services.
Provide basic support for LAN/WAN networking issues.
Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions and Group Policy.
Work with SCCM and Intune for device management and deployment.
Build, configure, repair and maintain laptops and other IT hardware.
Provide general hands-on IT support to users within the Bedford office.
Escalate more complex technical issues where required.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support at our Bedford office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong desktop support skills and a broad understanding of Microsoft technologies and infrastructure., * Strong experience providing desktop/IT support in a Windows environment.

Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
Practical experience with Microsoft 365, particularly Exchange/email, licensing and Teams.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, user administration and Group Policy.
Experience with SCCM and/or Intune.
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
Basic knowledge of server environments.
Strong hardware troubleshooting and laptop build/repair skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, office-based support role.
