Job description

Developing highly efficient, robust and maintainable applications and Back End services
Building and enhancing services using C#/.NET and Golang
Working extensively with SQL Server
Supporting and improving existing business-critical functionality
Working within a microservices architecture
Identifying technical improvements and contributing ideas for new solutions
Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Engineering and Testing throughout delivery, This would suit an experienced Back End/software engineer who is comfortable operating in complex, performance-focused environments and can contribute quickly across both Golang and the Microsoft stack.

Requirements

Golang is mandatory for this contract. We are specifically looking for candidates with demonstrable commercial Golang development experience alongside:

Strong commercial C#/.NET
Strong MS SQL Server
Microservices architecture
Git/version control
Experience working with high-volume or data-intensive systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

The wider environment also includes Kafka, Linux, web/cloud technologies and external data providers, so experience in these areas would be highly advantageous. WPF exposure would also be beneficial.
