Job description
- Develop clean, secure, and maintainable code following test-driven development (TDD) practices
- Design and build scalable, reusable software components and services
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; ensure system stability and performance
- Contribute to application architecture, design decisions, and best practices
- Implement and follow modern engineering standards, including CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Support system integration across multiple applications and services
- Continuously improve user experience and application performance
- Monitor, operate, and optimize production systems in a cloud environment
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support on a rotational/on-demand basis (flexible, not mandatory).

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and AWS cloud technologies to design, develop, and enhance scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native solutions, working with modern development frameworks, and leveraging automation and testing tools to deliver reliable software that meets user needs.
You will play a key role in developing end-to-end solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving production services., * Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
- ECS, ECR, Lambda, API Gateway
- S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Step Functions
- Exposure to API management tools (eg, Apigee) is a plus
Experience with frontend technologies, such as AngularJS and TypeScript
Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools, including:
- Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Docker, CloudFormation
Familiarity with scripting languages (Groovy, Bash)
Experience with testing frameworks and practices:
- Gherkin, Cypress, Jest, Karate
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of secure coding practices and code quality tools (eg, SonarQube, Fortify)
Experience working in Agile environments, * Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience managing or contributing to CI/CD pipelines
- ITIL certification (preferred but not mandatory), * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ownership mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
