- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful web services
- Experience using Git for source control
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Exposure to observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc.)
- Knowledge of event-driven systems and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI
- Understanding of API Gateways and OAuth concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on experience with AWS cloud architecture and development using AWS resources like S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc
- Building Spring apps utilizing both SQL and NoSQL Databases (Mongo, DynamoDB, SQL Server, Postgres, etc..)
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- JavaScript
- Python
