Job description

The Tax Technology & Transformation Manager will work with clients to modernise and optimise their tax functions through technology, data, process improvement and operating model transformation. They will work alongside tax, finance, data and technology specialists to deliver innovative solutions and drive meaningful business change., * Support the design and delivery of tax transformation programmes across people, process, data, technology and operating model change.

  • Review existing tax and finance processes, identify improvement opportunities and help define future-state operating models.
  • Assist with the implementation and optimisation of tax, finance and reporting technology solutions, including ERP and EPM platforms.
  • Analyse tax and financial data requirements, support data mapping activities and improve data quality, governance and accessibility.
  • Work closely with tax, finance and technology stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Support project delivery activities, including workstream coordination, stakeholder communication, issue resolution and reporting.
  • Contribute to proposal development, business development initiatives and thought leadership activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in corporate tax, tax accounting, tax reporting, finance transformation, ERP implementation or a related consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of tax and/or finance processes, with a keen interest in technology-enabled transformation.
  • Knowledge of tax reporting, tax compliance or tax provision processes and the associated data requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes in a project environment.
  • Exposure to tax technology solutions, tax reporting platforms, ERP or EPM systems would be advantageous.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, CA, CIMA or equivalent are desirable.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation, process improvement or finance change programmes is highly beneficial.
