Microsoft 365 Engineer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Microsoft 365 with existing IT infrastructure, including VMware, AWS, Azure, and on-premises systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing within the Microsoft 365 suite to support organizational needs.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to streamline administrative tasks.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues related to Office applications, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other services.
• Configure and support VPNs, APIs, and other connectivity tools to facilitate secure remote access and integrations.
• Participate in Agile development cycles (SDLC) for continuous improvement of cloud solutions and IT services.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for compliance and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging technologies such as DevOps practices, virtualization techniques (VMware), containerization, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

• Proven experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments at an enterprise level with a focus on security and compliance.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management including virtualization (VMware), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and computer management tools.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS for deploying scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with scripting languages including Python, Shell Scripting (Bash), and PowerShell for automation purposes.
• Knowledge of network security protocols such as VPNs, APIs integration, and firewall configurations.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks for project delivery.
• Experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server) or Oracle for data management tasks is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization environments, or cloud services efficiently.
