Microsoft 365 & Business Applications Administrator

• Design, implement, and support scalable solution architectures integrating Microsoft 365 with enterprise systems such as Pegasystems, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Oversee system administration tasks across Windows, Linux, VMware ESXi, and Azure platforms to ensure high availability and reliability of IT infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python or Shell Scripting to streamline system management processes and support DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and manage network security components including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, load balancing solutions, and information security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams utilizing Agile methodologies to design microservices architectures using Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architecture principles.
• Monitor system health through tools like Jenkins, Git, and monitoring dashboards; perform troubleshooting for issues related to system design or architecture.
• Implement virtualization strategies utilizing VMware ESXi or Azure Virtual Machines to optimize resource utilization across the organization’s IT landscape.
• Support the development of APIs for integration between various platforms ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

Do you have experience in Microsoft Exchange?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven experience in system administration within enterprise environments managing Microsoft 365 services combined with extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles including microservices design, service-oriented architecture (SOA), load balancing techniques, and system design best practices.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems such as SQL Server (Microsoft SQL), MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Python or Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, REST APIs and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git version control system, CI/CD pipelines; experience supporting Agile development environments is preferred.
• Strong background in information security practices including data protection measures within cloud environments and network security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent are advantageous.
