Job description

Seeking a Mainframe Developer to support and enhance high-volume production platforms focused on customer financial communications, including trade confirmations, statements, and other regulatory communications. This role involves developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications within a mission-critical environment while partnering closely with business and technology teams to deliver stable, high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include production support, software deployments, detailed analysis and documentation, and ensuring strong testing and data security practices across both batch and online systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM. Experience working in mainframe environments is essential, while exposure to distributed technologies or distributed services is considered a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are important, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively within agile engineering teams.
