Job description

The program is an IDIQ contract for an AWS-based cloud hosting system. Currently, Peraton is supporting the Cloud Security, IoT, and AIML use cases for the environment in a hybrid work environment with Federal employees. Peraton also support the following applications as part of the environment: Dremio, Tableau, Globus, Posit/RStudio, Atlassian, ThingLogix, Alteryx and CloudCheckr., Peraton’s Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) have identified a critical gap in the federal government’s ability to conduct comprehensive Endangered Species Act (ESA) research. While FWS operates an authoritative web-based platform for managing data for terrestrial and freshwater species, it does not currently include NMFS marine and anadromous species data forcing agencies to rely on separate, manual processes. This program closes that gap by integrating marine and anadromous species data into the existing FWS platform, creating a single, unified experience for all ESA-listed species., Peraton is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a high-visibility federal data integration program supporting the U.S. Department of the Interior and NOAA. In this role, you will provide executive-level oversight of a multi-agency, multi-workstream technology initiative, serving as the primary interface between the delivery team and government stakeholders., * Provide contract-level oversight across all project workstreams and the full period of performance

  • Coordinate with DOI OCIO, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), part of the Department of the Interior, which manages fish, wildlife, and habitats across the United States, NOAA Fisheries (the National Marine Fisheries Service, the federal agency within NOAA responsible for managing and conserving U.S. marine resources), OMB, and CEQ at the executive level to maintain multi-agency alignment
  • Review and approve all contractual deliverables before government submission
  • Oversee preparation and submission of Monthly Progress Reports, Quarterly Performance Summaries, and the Year-End Final Report
  • Coordinate preparation and delivery of the MVP Demonstration Package, ensuring demo environment readiness and executive-level briefing materials are complete for government review
  • Review and approve the Production Deployment Report, confirming deployment outcomes, post-deployment monitoring results, and system stability before government submission
  • Manage staffing allocations and resource planning across peak delivery periods
  • Ensure FITARA compliance for all IT acquisitions and cloud engagements
  • Serve as the escalation point for unresolved cross-agency blockers, critical defects, and schedule risks

Requirements
