Job description

The Global Business Systems Manager - Special Projects & Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) supports global initiatives that span business systems, operational readiness, and organizational change. This role is business-facing and project oriented, serving as a key liaison between Global Business Systems, business stakeholders, and functional partners. The position focuses on special project, M&A, Organic Growth and/or Real Estate relocations integration readiness, cross-functional project coordination, and enabling standardized, scalable business processes across the organization. Responsibilities Serve as a Global Business Systems representative for mergers & acquisitions, organic growth and relocations, supporting discovery, integration planning, setup & configuration, pre & post go-live execution. Support CargoWise Business Systems when no M&A’s are active.

  • Coordinate system-related workstreams for M&A activities, including timelines, dependencies, communication, and readiness planning and execution.

  • Lead or support cross-functional special projects that impact enterprise business systems, processes, and organizational change.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering high-level business requirements and translating them into actionable inputs.

  • Support business readiness, training coordination, and adoption activities related to system changes and integrations.

  • Maintain documentation, governance artifacts, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement of M&A and project playbooks.

  • Support the continuous improvement on M&A integration processes
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Global Business Systems integration templates and governance frameworks
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • The wage range for this position is $127,720.00-$191,580.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Requirements

  • High School (required)
  • Some College/Associate’s Degree Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred), * 5+ years Experience working with enterprise business systems or technology-enabled business processes (required) and
  • 3+ years Cross-functional project, transformation, or M&A integration experience (required) and
  • 5+ years Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or supply chain environments (required)
