AI Infrasture Systems Engineer

We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installation or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need., As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services.

You will:

• Design scalable, sustainable AI solutions by leveraging expertise in compute, storage, networking, and power and cooling systems to meet both short-term and long-term requirements.
• Work closely with account teams to support RFP responses and consult with customers on AI infrastructure solutions. Build performance-optimized, right-sized AI environments that effectively support targeted algorithms and models, enabling business outcomes with improved ROI. This may include conducting proofs of concept on new technologies, benchmarking applications in Dell labs, and designing optimal solutions based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and product development as an AI subject matter expert to accelerate adoption of Dell AI solutions.
• Help customers and partners understand Dell AI solutions by clarifying technical concepts and providing guidance on architectural design.
• Deliver tailored technical presentations and infrastructure proposals to customers. Explore AI use cases, present solution briefs, develop AI demos, and author white papers and blog posts.
• Partner with engineering teams to define and propose infrastructure that supports AI applications in line with Dell best practices. Work with product management and engineering teams to drive product excellence and innovation that address evolving customer needs.

• Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a relationship-selling role.
• Extensive experience architecting infrastructure solutions, including storage and servers.
• Familiarity with AI systems hardware architecture, network interconnect technologies, and storage topologies, with the ability to clearly articulate the associated trade-offs and effectively communicate the pros and cons to customers.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) as a data scientist or ML engineer, including deploying projects for stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $$204,850 - $265,100, which includes base salary and commissions.
