Senior Systems Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer to serve as a hands - on technical leader for the deployment, validation, and stabilization of advanced data center solutions . This role is deeply engaged in customer site system bring-up, working directly with Dell internal teams, partners, and customers to ensure complex solutions are deployed successfully and achieve customer productivity within committed timelines.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Triage, debug and deploy Server/Storage/HPC System architectures and solutions

• Debugging and issue resolution at factory integration at Dell and 3rd-party sites

• Support of Dell Services escalation resolution when needed

• Support for lab builds and customer evals

• Travel when required

• 5-7 years of experience in hardware design, system architecture, or systems engineering

• Strong background in deploying and debugging complex compute and networking architectures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams

• Hands-on experience with in-rack and data center-scale systems, including installation, configuration, and validation

Desirable Requirements

• Proven experience in the design and deployment of solution-level AI and enterprise Server/ Storage/HPC data center systems

• Previous customer-facing technical roles (deployment, escalation, field engineering, or solution architecture)

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $123,000 to $169,400.
