Golang Developer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications using Go/Golang.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Go best practices.
• Integrate applications with databases, message queues, third-party services, and external APIs.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance, and security improvements.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and observability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer to join our engineering team and help design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Go, backend development, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies., * 8+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong professional experience with Go/Golang.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional programming concepts.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go’s standard library.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York City is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below)., * A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
