Requirements

Requires Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation in software development or, alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation in software development., Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Source code control management systems: SVN, Git, or Subversion; Agile development methodology and CI/CD using Maven or Jenkins; Spring Framework technologies (Spring Boot or Hibernate), and SQL; Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure; Configuration automation tools: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt Stack; At least 3 of the following: Java, J2EE, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, C, C++, Micro services, JMS, XML, Kubernetes, Chef, Terraform, Cassandra, or Postgres; and At least 2 of the following logging and monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, GCP Stack driver, Apigee, Dynatrace, or App dynamics.
