Job description

The Team Manager, Solution Engineering leads, develops, and inspires a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers across the Americas. This management role is responsible for team performance, operational excellence, and strategic alignment with internal Sales and Business Leadership. The Team Manager ensures the team delivers technical pre-sales excellence, supports business growth, and drives continuous improvement. Customer and partner engagement is primarily at a strategic, executive, or escalation level., As Team Manager, you will ensure the effective delivery of solutions by managing resources, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and driving operational excellence. You’ll foster cross-functional teamwork, monitor key metrics, and represent Solution Engineering at the executive level, all while promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture.

  • Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for timely solution delivery.
  • Act as the main liaison with Sales and Business Leaders, aligning technical pre-sales with business goals and providing strategic input.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to drive cross-functional success.
  • Drive adoption of value-based selling frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Solution Selling and ensure consistency in execution of pre-sales methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring efficient and scalable operations.
  • Represent Solution Engineering in executive-level customer and partner meetings, focusing on strategic alignment and supporting the team with complex challenges.
  • Promote an inclusive, high-performance team culture by supporting professional growth, coaching, and career development.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UEM?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or enterprise IT consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, including endpoint management, remote connectivity, SaaS, and DEX platforms.
  • Proven experience managing geographically distributed technical teams.
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Sales and Business Leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SaaS applications (RMM, ITSM, Asset Management, Observability tools).
  • Familiarity with digital employee experience (DEX) platforms and modern device management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for technology and continuous learning.
