Job description
- Assist development teams with software release testing, to include running test cases, creating bug tickets and diagnosing issues.\n
- Provide troubleshooting and support for mission-critical systems, focusing on Linux-based environments and containerized applications.\n
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supported systems, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.\n
- Perform system installation, configuration, and support of fielded systems.\n
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.\n
- Assist the development team by completing entry-level to intermediate-level scripts and coding tasks.\n
- Role includes providing end-user support of unique and complex systems via phone, email and Teams. Providing remote support will include assisting the user with configuration changes, patch updates, and functionality testing.\n
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the STEM field with 2-4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates with 6 years of experience will be considered.\n
- Must be an U.S. citizenship, possess and maintain a DoD Secret clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.\n, * Experience and demonstrated skills in the following support this position:\n
- Experience in Jira, Confluence, and exposure to GitLab.\n
- Experience as system administrator.\n
- Experience in a service desk environment to include using ticketing system to track issues and issue resolution.\n
- Strong attention to detail.\n
- Strong experience with troubleshooting independently.\n
- RedHat or other Linux distro experience.\n
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other containerization implementation.\n
- Experience with TCP/IP networks.\n
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\n
- Strong documentation skills.\n
- Strong communication skills.\n
- Ability to acquire IAT Level II Certification\n
